So sad, my 9700 totally died in a blaze of glory. Being my first big synth project i have to rebuild it. So rather than just fixing it I’m completely redesigning the faceplate layout. Despite its short comings I still totally recommend the 9700 to any one who wants to start getting into analog synthesis. Problems = First of all the jacks are crappy, located too close together and get in the way of tweaking the knobs. The VCO frequency knob lacks a wide range and needs a frequency fine adjustment.
